SARA members had the exciting opportunity to compete in the annual National Drone Competition, a stage that brought together some of the most skilled and innovative drone teams from across the Tri‑State area. For many of our students, it was their first time stepping into a national‑level engineering challenge, yet they approached it with confidence, curiosity, and the same collaborative spirit that defines our organization.
Throughout the competition, our team demonstrated advanced technical skill, from precision piloting to strategic problem‑solving under pressure. They navigated complex challenges, adapted quickly, and supported one another through every round. Their hard work paid off: SARA students earned multiple awards, standing out not only for their performance but also for their creativity and teamwork.
This achievement represents more than medals. It reflects SARA’s commitment to giving students meaningful, hands‑on STEM experiences that push them to grow, innovate, and lead. Competing at the National Drone Competition showed our members what they are capable of and inspired us to continue expanding opportunities for students across our community.
