On June 22nd, 2024 SARA held a free-to-enter Aerial Drone Competition at their booth at the SACHA expo.
A number of people from SARA participated in the National Drone competition hosted in West Virginia.
Our team at SARA hosted a drone outreach event on March 10th, 2024. The goal of the event was to inspire teamwork among dozens of people.
Our mission at SARA is to cultivate a vibrant community where students can explore, learn, and excel in the field of robotics. We aim to foster innovation, promote learning, encourage collaboration, inspire leadership, and make a positive impact on society through robotics. Together, we strive to push the boundaries of technology and shape the future of robotics.
The Student Association for Robotics Advancments started off as 7 FTC students part of Team 19747 The Dynabytes. This team was not only passionate about expanding their knowledge about robotics but teaching their own knowledge and expertise in robot building and programming along with sharing their experiences competing at FTC, FIRST Tech Challenge. The organization started with small outreach events at the team’s local church but later expanded, with over 40 potential members, and over 15 students on committees to help plan more events teaching about STEM. SARA continues to add more events all around New Jersey.
When you join SARA you will help us to make a difference in the robotics community. Every person who joins makes a difference helping us create great events every single time.
