SARA took part in ROBOCON, an exciting community event where our team had the opportunity to showcase VEX IQ and FIRST LEGO League robots to the general public. Throughout the day, students led interactive demonstrations that highlighted how these robots are designed, built, and programmed, giving families and young learners a close‑up look at the creativity and engineering behind competitive robotics.
Visitors were able to explore hands‑on STEM activities, ask questions, and see live robot runs that showed how coding and mechanical design come together in real time. Our team members shared their experiences in robotics, explained the different pathways available through programs like VEX IQ and FLL, and encouraged students—especially those new to STEM—to imagine themselves as future innovators.
Participating in ROBOCON allowed SARA to connect with the broader community, spark curiosity in younger students, and continue our mission of expanding access to inclusive robotics education. It was a meaningful opportunity to inspire the next generation and show just how fun and accessible STEM can be.
